Ever have days when you try to fall asleep but can't? I'm exhausted and nothing's really working. And on a warm cloudy day, at that. -_-
It's also supposed to be really warm and humid today, but I'm not feeling anything either, save lethargy.
The camera's too slow to catch the newer fish I picked up, but it's obvious that I added/moved foliage around. Added more bottom feeders to the tank, all catfish; and four fancy guppies, which exhibit how much breeding apparently affects fish: they're each brightly colored in some varied way. I think I hit the threshold for my tank's capacity, although my filter can obviously handle a lot more. Still a few more things I want to get, however. I'll give the tank a week to build up in plant life for now anywho.
Oh yes, and got chewed out by some pet store owner who didn't think I was knowing what I was doing. Then they complained to me after a water test that my chemistry was too low at 7.0 (pure water). This I found strange since:
1. Most fish prefer a pH around 7.0
2. My tank was already high to begin with from all the calcium carbonate buildup in my old tank water, meaning the two weeks I spent trying to lower my tank's chemistry was for nothing.
Anyway, I guess this means I have to go find some !^!#$@ chalk to grind and add to the system.
