Jan. 8th, 2007 03:02 pmHmmm, well this certainly explains this morning's odor. I thought it was within the museum, but it turned out to spread everywhere. Very peculiar. Maybe I'll die in 24 hours afterwards; who knows? The only thing I do know is that it's 3 and I'm still not that hungry, even if it smelled like pancakes to some people.
Meanwhile, Austin's got bird issues. Possibility might be bird flu, but none of those birds are migratory and, to be honest, bird flu would have subjected somewhere up North first, unless people in Canada/Alaska are trying to hide something from us. Perhaps a new breed of avian disease? Perhaps even heat stroke (although unlikely since there would probably be more victims)?
