...and the job hunt rages on

I'm now a member of hotjobs, monster, careerbuilder, AND nytimes employment center! Three days of tossing resumes around, etc. I also warned my temp agency that I was returning to the workforce starting next week. I'm not sure if I'm overshooting myself by asking for 40k, but at the same time I feel like I wouldn't care too much if it was 30k, but I would like it to be more so I could pay off the loans more quickly.
Sent out around 8-10 resumes. I'm getting flashbacks of applying for college, except I had fun writing those essays. These cover letters are getting redundant. :\

those job-hunting websites suck. what kind of job are you looking for? i know you were an english/writing major, but i don't know what you want to do with that. if i did, i could point you in the right direction. but take a look at some of these (http://www.library.drexel.edu/resources/guides/subjectguides.html#careers) resource guides for better job websites.

Date: 2005-05-18 01:51 am (UTC)Right now, I'm figuring admin work would do me dandy; it would work with my overall schedule of writing on the side (I expressed it in a few entries here and there, so it's understandable to miss it).
