What a cute furry bee. I would have pet it, but I was too busy wondering if I sweated out my entire body on that day. Plus, bumblebees are huuuuge. This one was pinky digit-sized. Cute but deadly.

I got the Vivitar 28/2 for 90 dollars. I would have paid 100, but I really had to jump the price just to get it. I can’t complain though since with shipping I paid less than I would have with the Kiron. I finally have one of the better wide angles now! Yaaaay. Next step: seeing about a 50/1.2 or a 30/1.4. Or a hood for the lens.
I’m being convinced to get a Dremel to deal with some of these lens adjustments. My argument against it is that it’s overkill to get a Dremel just to mess with lenses, so I need a secondary use for it that can find some purpose around the house or the like. I’m told it makes a great polisher.
