-but the idea of him donating even a small amount like $10,000 (okay, small with respect to him) to fund the Jena 6 trial is quite heartening.
It looks like the donation isn't even necessary, though, thank god. One can only wonder what other beasts hide underneath the surface of this society, though, let alone all our societies. Many black comedians, after all, who profit from the humor of poking of their ethnicity, do seem to have popularity around all audiences for a reason, and it's not exactly family-oriented.
Also, another point towards what I find distasteful about politics: DA Reed Walters is a Democrat.
