Okay, it looks like the spammers don't want to end it.
Even though Blue Security quit, the spammers only took the extra step by DDoS'ing the company they used for security. I'm assuming the pretense is a fear tactic to say that you should never do this again, but this looks like more incentive than ever for there to be stronger antispam policies. I hate to think I might be going too far in my ideas, but with the right connections I could see this used for terrorism very easily. If some of the strongest security firms can still be shut down by well-placed DDoS attacks, then I doubt most governments have any better chance, unless someone can correct me here.
