I saw the last of Chobits!

I feel content with the ending, definitely doesn't tease you in the end and it makes you feel as though there really is such a thing as a happy ending that feels right. Maybe it's because I'm biased towards Chobits. How can't you though? It's that classic story of two cogs that don't fit... finally realizing they fit together and the things that come with it.
I'd be a liar if I said the last few episodes didn't leave a tear or two on my eyes... Don't worry, I won't spoil anything, though the sad times as well as the happy ones... they all left this little piece in my heart to remember. Few things ever leave me feeling so emotional and it's between this, the ending of Nausicaa, and Koko wa Greenwood. I'm not sure if I could watch this series again. Actually I could probably rewatch it, right along side with Fruits Basket (that one officially beats Ranma... I remember going on Fruits Basket marathons before I would let myself watch the newest episodes just so I could be in the right mood for it. Yay, Momiji!), though certain episodes will particularly cling to me (episode 22, nothing more that needs to be said beyond that without ruining one of the most beautiful stories I have ever heard, period).
I feel a lil' too soft with emotion now. I guess I'll watch some different type of anime to compensate... maybe Inu Yasha or some other romantic comedy action or somesuch (I can't go cold turkey, I need to read "Brave New World"!). Okay, Fruits Basket probably. Gad, just listening to the opening leaves me nostalgically longing.
