The Scion of Poseidon
Mar. 2nd, 2009 10:47 amWeek 2 begins of the unemployment phase and it's been not too bad. Outside of some new prescription glasses that took me down a whole paycheck (ugh), I managed to barely spend a thing. This is good!
I got a job for today involving some studio work and that I had to spend money on, unfortunately, since I have no real materials to work with. I am currently working on my resume and all that good stuff.
Wish I could say more! Weekend was uneventful, I've been spending most of my time going out looking for things to shoot and it's been relatively fruitless since the weather's just too cloudy. I though it would reduce my chromatic aberration issues significantly, but it just doesn't seem to be the case. My best bet is simply sticking to a lower aperture with that combo and trying to maximize shutter speed whenever possible. Maybe I should have invested in that 1.4x-L instead... Oh well, no time for second thoughts!
It's snowing outside and apparently I was told it was going to go for almost half a foot, but I don't believe it. It never really gets that thick out here whenever they say that.

Date: 2009-03-03 12:19 am (UTC)Hey, I was going to ask--what do you think of lomographic cameras? If I've asked this before, then I apologize. I had a Diana+, but I think I broke it while trying to open the shutter. Now I want a Holga with a 35mm adapter.
Mainly, I just want a camera that can take trippy pictures with 35mm film. Do you know of the best model to get?
