yourfaceboingo pointed out to me that I should make a photo blog. This... isn't the first time I've heard this pointed out to me as I am fairly aware of a few others who have done this in some way or another. I did set up an account with ImageKind to sell a few of my Flickr items that do seem worth putting onto a postcard or whatever, although I am not sure if they would be worth putting on a postcard no matter how many fans I have (I have 3!).

This started around a joke that if I did do a photoblog, that I would entitle it, "Pix so they did Happen". I have a spare potential to start one up on blogger, but... I dunno, putting this much effort to whore photos to a web audience doesn't appeal to me as much.

I always feel bad for having you friended not only to read your journal (when I'm not in a flurry through the day) but to also see your photos! Your photos bring such wonderful emotions to the scene with how well you've captured your target, be it children, landscape, or animal. They are always enjoyable for me, though they take a greater priority than your journal (I'm sorry!) and I know I don't often comment enough for you, but have faith, your photography is WONDERFUL.

Thanks, it's good to know. We've all got busy lives, so I'm not asking you to go out of your way for me, but it is good to know that there are folks who enjoy what I show up.

Actually ;) you're a strong motivation to log into LJ lately just to see if you've posted piccies, because let's be frank, on a busy day, it's nice to log in, see your photos, oooh and ahhh, get nostalgic before the work rush hour sets in. You are to me like cute overload is to most people.

From what I've been in, it seems like the community is large enough to readily sell prints normally. I'm not sure if I want to step into that or not though since I have no clue about the DA community.

i hear redbubble is good for artists.

but what about making a photoblog for the pleasure of it? if you make some sales, cool. but if not, then you're at least documenting your work.

Well... the thing is I technically post here for the pleasure of it! I guess if the photography lingo is getting too heavy around here, then I'll switch it to a separate area, but it seems so redundant.
