I don't have 2k on hand for a 5D and I would end up shortfalling the capability, not to mention waste even more money on higher-priced Canon glass just to get autofocus and image stabilization. -_-

I think I'll just wait a few years for a Pentax with full-frame capability, thanks (not likely to happen for awhile thanks to the stagnant Japanese economy and our failing American one).

-that said, if you do invest in a Pentax, I do have some lenses I could donate that are pretty decent.
