While reading and interacting with people this morning, I've noticed that comments have been getting sucked up by server errors.
Did I choose a funky time to read?
While I'm here, I'm going to add that the Polar Vortex, despite all the fears brought up about it, have felt like nothing new over here, but then again it's New England and I'm still trying to guess how long it'll take our 6 foot snow trenches to melt away once mud season kicks in.
Oh, I've also started scouring details on how much and what is needed to be done to get a wedding ceremony done. I hate it. Michelle hates it too and thought it would be some quick thing. I kept trying to press her that "quick things" usually cost money, especially if there's more than us involved.
Also just saying that it's been noted that more expensive weddings tend towards higher divorce rates. I just want the rings and to sign the papers and call it a day. I told her instead of a wedding gown and tuxedo we can get something nice that we could find a second use for wearing in a formal event or a job interview. Her parents seem to want to control the narrative though. I told her we need to discuss what they want an negotiate what their expectations are since the average wedding cost in Vermont could put down a deposit for a house.
