For 30 minutes to an hour, all they'd do is show boxed-in music videos with an interface on the bottom that shows random people's chat comments on it. Considering how much incoherent junk went on it, it doesn't surprise me that their bandwidth bills blew up from all those MTV-prone lackeys attempting to gain some brief moment of fame by getting their message plastered on the magnadoodle version of a graffiti board.
But it isn't that specifically that I found humorously stupid at this moment (though the idea is still such a moronic idea that I felt like laughing at the marketing guy's thoughts on this one). It was their special Valentine's Day segment where all they did was show love songs. All throughout this segment you had them show these songs and people would "shout out" to their "peeps" or various other loved ones. But that doesn't always happen, does it?
No, instead what I saw was a 50% ratio of "i hate valentines day becuz i got no girl". Gee, why the hell doesn't that surprise me. Excuse me as I laugh in your faces, losers, not because I'm better off than you, but because admitting that has to be the most inane, no, I'm going to use this term in this context once and only once: GAY* thing I have ever heard. Waah, waah, waah, I have no girlfriend so I'm going to bitch and whine about it on MTV for everyone to see. Now, this stupid MTV concept was years ago, so I'm sure most of them grew out of it.
