Things freed up fucking finally. My replacement also wanted to understand my troubleshooting process and realized she was SOL figuring it out so maybe I won't be leaving anytime too soon. No complaints here, I have 4k in camera debt to pay off lol

Camera is still in pre-order phase. I have a Sony Nex7 that I also offered to someone and that was like a week before Thanksgiving and I haven't heard from them. I'm kind of annoyed about it but also it's not like I don't have room and time but at the same time I'm tempted to offer the camera to first come first serve so if anyone wants a Nex 7, I'm honestly also tempted to mail it to anyone that messages me and is willing to pay like 20 bucks for postage at this point.

So I mentioned room and yeah we rented a storage space and we have so much more room now, it's crazy. I never realized how many legos I have until now. Now I feel like I can use my room as a studio again.

I built a HG model kit in like 2 days based off a SRW design. It was pretty neat!

Things are slowing down work-wise this time of year so I can catch up, woo hoo!

Still waiting on a bunch of stuff from coming in.

I even got a bunch of photos processed and learned a little more with photo editing. Productivity!

Oh and I ate too much cheese at a breakfast restaurant and now I'm anemic with IBS yet again. Bleeding, yay.

Anyway, despite all that, thanks for reading my rant. Enjoy this photo of the rat during Thanksgiving ready to rap with the kids about the street.

That's my life: always keeping myself busy! I didn't even get into the whole testing phase I am forcing myself into for the sake of work that ate up a fair share of my weekend.

So, uhm if you're seriously giving away your camera, I have just broken mine?

So you reminded me that not only do I have a NEX7 that I've outgrown, but that I did a recent dig through my storage time and found a Pentax K5 that I used as a backup for my K20 that I remember being very meh about.

You can look up the specs, but the NEX7 is a more advanced camera that's more of a precursor to modern mirrorless systems, but the K5 is a traditional mirror box digital camera. I think the K-5 is heavier too, so that might affect shipping cost, but probably not by much.

If you're interested, I'll give you first choice on either. If you have any questions about either, let me know as well. Otherwise though I was going to sell the K5 to a camera shop since it held up better but if you use K-mount then maybe it'll be better for you?
