Timeline Cleanse Attempt #1

So looked through some of the shots and... a few look salvageable. A lot of it was more tests to see how feasible the 120-300 is as a lens. The problem with it comes from being an adapted Sigma mount though which means it's not completely accurate. Actually, this is a great reminder to myself to update the firmware. I'll do that once I finish posting this.
Not much at the moment, mostly some chicken photos and maybe a quarter of the pics I took on a ferry.

So a big problem that comes from this is the AF focus as it seeks a lot. Again, I'll see if a firmware update will fix this, it would be a big help. The lens was fighting the sun and the flare was showing its fiercest, but some of it looked decent after some postprod. Only decent though, I'm not super convinced.

I rarely see hornbills of any type and apparently the Southern edge of NJ to DE has a colony of them or so. Again, some fighting with the lens to get this as it was against the sun, distance, and trying to chase focus while aiming at the subject. This was like one out of two out of 8 attempts that were kind of usable and these were also cropped so image quality is miiiiiiiiid.

Finally, was debating if this was worth keeping for a portfolio? I like the cleanliness of it, got it nice and symmetrical, the lines are nice too (that's what brought me to take this), but everything else about it feels... plain. Anyone have thoughts?

Thanks for looking. More to come (especially of The Rat).
