The Count of Crepitus

One thing that I will never feel comfortable with is the constant snapping and clicking noise I hear whenever I do exercises. It makes me feel like a tree ready to break.
Looking into it though and asking the chiro, it's harmless. It's basically muscles moving outside of grooves they were built for because the muscles are too big to fit. More or less it's a sign that I am still not totally out of shape.
The PT also confirmed that my arm is getting better now. Aside from putting on a shirt without a problem, my range is-according to him-two inches from my total range. A good sign that I am close to normal again. My main concern now is keeping this routine.
It's warm as hell outside for the past few days and of course that's why the car's AC broke down. This happened last year, so this must be to celebrate our last big fix for the car. Good thing I kept paranoid with my savings because it also kept with the tradition of being an expensive fix.
Nice thing though is we managed to get a loaner that I think was just dropped off because it looks like it wasn't cleaned up and I found a water bottle under my seat but who am I to complain about getting to do weekend stuff in a 2023 sport model Crosstrek?
I got a template figured out for one of my gift cards and the other one I just ordered prints for so we can work on constructing them. The prints I'm using for parts cost like 13 bucks and this is another reminder why I probably will never sell these unless high end 50-100 dollar personalized cards become a thing (to which I express extreme doubt).
This Saturday we just drove around Eastern PA looking for watermelon and sweet corn and only found one of them: watermelon is still not in season and I think we're a week or two off. Maybe climate change was responsible too, I dunno.
Today I have no idea. To be discussed, I guess.
Still got things to learn at work but everyone is being patient with me, thank god.

Date: 2023-07-10 11:31 pm (UTC)Though tbf I think I started doing a custom card maybe two years ago for someone's wedding since the groom did storyboard for The Great North and we noticed a suspicious reference to him in an episode. It wasn't a popup card though, more a paper craft copy of that reference that was plotted, cricut, and pasted.

Lol that's pretty funny ngl. It's amusing when people are able to sneak in inside jokes/references like that.

Date: 2023-07-18 01:42 am (UTC)Part of it for me is knowing why something is built the way it is, otherwise I feel like I'm just repeating instructions without understanding how to add my own charm. Not like it always needs this, but it really does help.
Ironically, when I posted it anonymously on Twitter the creator of the show found it and wanted me to congratulate the lucky couple and I really didn't want to say it was someone she works with. She deleted the tweet, so I think she figured out lol
