I got Michelle to get the template sorted out for the card and cleaned up an image of a plane to use for a cricut. I want to do a first draft cut but we don't have 8x12 paper in stock so it'll be a bit off with any test copy. I guess I should be glad we have a second photo as well just to see how it'll go.

I spent a few days earlier just napping which meant two days of sleeping for a few hours in the evening and it did wonders for the dizziness. I still get it but at least now I know that it's a result of just being too damn tired. I guess I need to nap more.

We spent the weekend in Vermont last week since hotel prices were insanely cheap in Albany (we found a good one at 99/night) and got some honey and a few other things, not a bad time overall. Some things changed but not that many; a few businesses we knew changed management but the name remains the same.

I keep getting medical bills for the colonoscopy and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel annoyed at their consistency. I honestly wonder if they planned this whole operation under the pretense to get as much money as possible. Michelle said I'm changing providers and I honestly agree unanimously but I need to wait until at least June to do it when I can get a free checkup again. I'm just hoping there are some providers available in that time since the alternative is waiting until the end of the year like we did when we found this out.

Gonna also say that I'm not a fan of how much we're politically downplaying the pandemic. With Biden scheduled to end all COVID measures come May, I'm concerned about the long-lasting implications that will come from this. It's not lost on me that we're still losing lives and it seems practically easy to say that the antivaxxers are winning their arguments for the sake of capitalism, which is ridiculous; if anything, this is a great opportunity for new companies to take advantage of how the state of play has changed. Instead, we're going to keep seeing deaths from COVID and long-term illnesses that will screw over more people. It's like nobody that wants to make money actually understands the potential of how to make money unless it's some way that's already established. It's practically an example of why so much of the world is going to shit.

Sorry, I don't like to rant politics here but since this one might affect me personally I just need to get that off my chest.
