I dreamt that due to COVID the lockdown returned to full effect. It didn't stop me from taking a bus to travel however. Upon leaving, I decide to eat at some outside hole-in-the-wall greasy Chinese place where I sit in a circular table that tightly fits three others and can't help but think this is too tight for comfort.

One of the other people, a younger kid in his teens, finishes eating and heads to work. He was an orphan and worked with the mob. His current task was to haul a stash of chips into an underground casino. As he wandered down through the area with the cart, the guards kept looking at the haul he carted through with awe but he kept dismissing it with, "It's just plastic."

Someone decides to take him in and live a life away from the mob. He's taken in and attends a family New Years with the extended family and they watch tv. As it gets late, one group of aunts and uncles realize they have to stay late so ask to stay and they sleep in the living room as the rest of them prepare to celebrate New Years: the house is big but everyone seems to be staying.

Covid has infiltrated my dreams some, too. I don't dream about it often but the few times I have in the past, it was usually me in a crowded place and no one was wearing a mask. Ugh.
