I'm trying to think of things to talk about and not much is coming to mind. Work is keeping me busy. The weather has been warming out until this wintry mix lashed down on us today. We took off today to make up for a trip to Boston tomorrow (because there's a MST3K live riffing going on in The Regent in Allston).
I have time to set up a poll and I don't need to resort to the poll poll idea list (which I haven't checked in awhile). It's nice to have this free time for once.
Just did another podcast session on Wednesday and the levels are so much better now. The lack of reverb is amazing. The guy who runs it is moving, so he'll be unemployed as he moves back to familiar ground for him.
Gaming
Okay, I'll also admit that I got the Beta for Hero-U and I've been working through that too. The overall quality of it is really good. I love this style of gaming where it's a combination of puzzle solving and fighting. As far as I'm concerned, it's the truest form of PnP style gaming on a computer and I think it deserves more recognition these days, especially if it gives you options on solving puzzles.
This one still isn't Quest for Glory good, just because there's not as many options, but there's very obvious suggestions for replay value here and there. It's not Witcher-crazy, but it's notable and a lot more relaxing too as a turn-based system.
Baking
Michelle's baking another loaf right now. Now it's a chipotle cheddar bread.I got to shred some frozen cheese. Did you know how much air is in shredded cheese? Apparently, a block of cheddar the size of a bar of soap yielded me about 2 and a half cups. In my opinion, that's insane! Note to self: figure out how to properly store freshly shredded cheese.
Not much more to say. One of my friends does live by the Boston coast where I was told the swells are predicted to go up to 18 inches. He's staying somewhere else. I've seen the seawalls there and while they're pretty tall, they only go as high as me (6 feet).
I'm sure it'll be some interesting photos. Ugh.
