I'm moving slow with the content, but I'm moving, period, which is what I wanted to begin with. A lot of this is encounter building and narration so far anyway. I took a day off for Wednesday, so it's mostly just me by myself although it seems I left work with some actual things going on while I was away. Figures I would leave a mess while I'm out.

We spent the weekend visiting Maine for the first time in years. The last time I was there was I think when I was 13-15 or so. We didn't really go deep into the shorelines where cute smelly otters and lobster abounded, but we did explore Southern Portland a bit, which is a giant commercial district of chain restaurants and stores and a mall that seems to defy our modern world by being both full and busy with people.

Michelle mostly wanted to do this to make up for my birthday, which I think she still felt bad about and I think she thought I keep holding against her.

Today I'm writing more stuff for this D&D thing. Nothing really amazing; five freaking pages. Whoopdy doo. Still, it's good to have this distracting me.

Gasp! And I missed you! ;-)

I think the Old Port may have worked better for you.

Ah. So jealous. I'd like to visit Maine one day. It sounds like a lovely little trip, even if it had less to do with otters and lobster.
