Timelord Versus the World

This weekend was camping at a beach. I overpacked with gear and my body took it, which I was glad to feel. Even better, the sea didn't strike me with allergies, leaving my nose clear most of the time, only acting up as soon as I got back to the camp site.
My biggest concern was sand, because sand and electronics do not mix well. They mix even less with camera gear. All the same, I traveled with the group and took photos of the boardwalk and their festivities.
I'm not much of a ride person, and I was concerned about the quality of shots taken while I was on these rides. All the same, I had fun and ate my fair share of junk food.
I'm still a little tired since the night was laden with noise. Sleeping at camp meant sleeping in an environment where people were still up being noisy all the way into the wee hours of the morning. Some of our troop elected to sleep outside and their sleeping gear got soaked with ocean spray (thank god I brought my own tent or else my gear would be SOL), and it was windy enough to blow down most people's tents. My tent didn't really take any real issues from it though and it was pretty stable overall. That said, it was rough for all of us.
Someone bought my spare K20, which works for me as I am investing in that new K-5 which I am eagerly waiting for.
This weekend is another round of outdoorsman trips. The boon of this is that it'll be a traditional camping trip, so I'll be using more conventional equipment for this, even though I'll probably also be sneezing up a storm.
