As a "Star Wars" skeptic disillusioned by two bad prequels and made aware of the world of cinematography, I went seeing Episode 3 with pure reluctance. But I can safely say that it has everything that I wanted in it.

-except for Natalie Portman and some redundant dialogue bits. These are but scuffs on a well-cut gem, though, since the movie overall was very surprisingly exceptional.

Edit: Even now that I think about it, I realize that Qui-Gonn was right from the beginning: Anakin is the one that brings balance to the Force, even if it comes in the form of the Jedi downfall. Heh, amazing!

Now my only concern... will Lucas think of redoing 4-6? I shudder in my head at the thought but know that in the mind of a man that touched up the graphics to his classic trilogy and even changed the final scene of its ending, I can only think of it as a possible scenario.

Good thing I didn't tell you about half of the Jedi council going into dissent against each other. That part rocked.

I was surprised by how much I liked Episode III as well. I thought it a bit sluggish at first, but then it really picked up. I'm hoping he just leaves the story alone now, and we can bask in the movies that are IV-VI, and occasionally watch Episode III when we want. ^_^
