The darkness of a warm body, the darkness of a cold night. Dark darkness of a coffin seal to faint darkness pierced 'twain by stems of light.
A darkness binding, toying with fir and oak and pine and yew.
A consuming darkness, that leaves my eyes nothing left to see.
Dark... darker...
Night.
Poe! Dear Poe, how you must be rolling in your grave! First they used you for a fashion statement and now someone ruins your beautiful rhyme to make a momentary poem.
