zesty_pintoToday went well enough... I feel like my life is progressing on me for once and it feels great. ^_^
I'm still jobless, but I've been guaranteed to get some calls from a tutor service eventually in the college and I've already got my NYU forms almost entirely finished. I need to get some additional information filled out but that's another story altogether that will get its finish soon enough. My parents were finally convinced I needed a haircut, so I no longer have to look like Shaggy's extra, and I have part one of my exit exam for Intro to Computers ready. I have no idea why I need to remember things like binary code and like that, but I guess I'll have to live with it. Hopefully I'll just need to get a pass/fail mark for it so it doesn't slam my report card and I don't need to compensate for my current grades just to have it catch up for that annoyingly basic class. Language CLEP is coming in two days and two days after that the diagnostic exam for the Intro to Computers thing.
On a side note, I read an article whilst waiting in the tutoring center about Christianity and the word of God and felt offended as I read into a part where the writer mentions how during the 70s there was a Christian artist that went to perform in a secular concert and after he says Jesus three times, people were silent. He then goes on to mention that it is "the word of god alone that can silence the devil" or something like that. I can't believe there are still people out there who are intent to believe that music is satanic. -and of course people would be quiet in a concert after hearing that; if you heard someone yell "fuck" three times out loud, wouldn't you shut up just to hear what he was saying? It's almost like a similar principle. I dunno, that just annoys me that people get so high-and-mighty without making counterpoints in their articles... it just feels like biased hogwash if I don't get to understand both sides first. I'd make an essay out of it but I have a feeling that I'd then get crucified by all the Christians on FoD since it would not surprise me if they thought that music and roleplaying games are works of the devil. Bah!
Er... anyway, beyond that spouting, things are good. I didn't get a nap, but I'm thinking of heading to bed early. I figure these entries will give me a good morale boost if I start to lose steam in my engines just to remind me that it's only a little yin for my yang. Anywho... *ZIP!*
