I did read some remarks about that, that he was doing only what he felt was in the right regard of the people who voted for him, but it amazes me that he himself would personally come for something as minute as a sitting protest, especially when people considered those nooses to be a "silly prank."

I'm sure there are other factors going on as well, but the idea of him threatening them in person over a nonviolent protest of so few people only helped tip the boiling kettle in my opinion.
