Finished the photos in the car, I have so much more time now that I've kind of established a pattern on how to handle the work. Thank god, new processes are such a PITA, especially when both jobs are asking it from you.

Spent Saturday visiting Philly and this time it was away from the Old City district, now it's closer to town hall. Ironically, it felt like we are exploring Philly century by century as we've gone from seeing 18th century structures to 20th century buildings.

We tried to see the famed market and we saw it all right, right in the middle of what must have been the end of a big conference event because it was waaaaaaaaaaay too packed with people. Is the food good there? It certainly smelled good. But no, no way in hell were we going to find seating here and we didn't know enough to know where to go to eat anything so we elected to find something else. Thankfully, Chinatown is right there so we found a dimsum place under the SEPTA and had a nice little dining time there.

Food was decent (better than a generic place but not a place I'll rave about), but the craziest thing about eating there was that it reminded me why I used to eat at Chinatown: because it's so cheap! How the hell did I not spend 80 dollars there with tip?! How the hell did I not spend 60?! Walking further had us pass some eateries that still did the "soup and 4 items for 8 bucks" deals. Holy shit I miss this. Bring this back, NYC!

We walked to the Hall of Independence, took photos (Rat Enjoyers will find some fun stuff to come), then visited the Liberty Bell a few minutes before closing which meant we had to run across to even see the famed Bell.

Sunday was going to be some more travel but Michelle was fighting out trying to troubleshoot the dishwasher, so we spent an hour at home while she tried to get it to run.

We spent two hours at home.

We spent three-you know what, we basically were working on this all day and before we knew it the day was blown and the dishwasher still didn't work and Michelle didn't want to get in touch with the landlord about it because we didn't want to be a bother. I offered to pay for a technician and she hated that idea too, so while she DIY'd her own remedies, she vented because she was also frustrated about this since she wanted to get more camera practice too.

It did start working... right after I just did the dishes myself. I don't know what magic was involved, but we're going to try this again and hopefully it'll work now because if it doesn't then Michelle's going to be more frustrated.

I need to figure out how to design something homemade for the in-laws' Secret Santa and it is the hardest thing we are all stuck with. I think I have an idea, so I'm going to play around with this. I probably should make that my task for tonight.

At least I also picked up some chocolates for my coworkers that was taking longer than usual. The place I get them from is awesome in general and the chocolates are nice.

All the same, I'll post another thing of some of the better shots from the card in the next post. Expect something soon.
