2020 in a Nutshell
Jan. 3rd, 2020 09:58 amI made a large dish of duk gook to commemorate the New Year. I was looking forward to it since it's been awhile and I wanted the excuse to enjoy something I don't normally eat.
We got maybe one bowl out of it before it went bad overnight. I tried to pick out what bits I could to save some of the several pounds of food before I gave up and drained the entire thing before I dumped the vomit-scented fermenting brew into the trash.
Not long afterwards, I ended up reading the news and came to a conclusion:
I think that's a pretty apt omen for this year.
