Once in awhile I'll post a link about actual news. Advertisers finally realizing that millenials are just too broke paying off housing and college debt to buy things is such a dumb revelation that I'm amazed at how stupid you have to be to never realize this has been a problem for over a decade now despite how you hid it between millennials either being "too lazy" because they understand modern methods or "killing" industries because they just can't afford things. I'm still cringing at the thought of how much I'm going to have to pay for funerals should my parents pass away anytime soon. Between reading about this and how Walmart is gearing up to mechanizing their retail staff (read: replace workers with robots), I'm just going to roll my eyes as we keep approaching the collective hellmouth.
So yeah, that's my rant for the day on here. I figure some of you on here would appreciate reading how dumb people are to never realize that constantly telling the youth to pull their bootstraps when they can barely afford any to begin with may have been the biggest no-brainer you've seen in awhile.
I'm trying to troubleshoot my exhaustion and so far it's been two days where I ate quinoa/lentils with my salad mix with much improved effect. Monday I powered through without feeling exhausted, and Wednesday had me finishing ahead of schedule. Also helps if I eat right while I'm there, though I also admit I'm just not hungry these days. My body might be converting to summer mode and I just don't need to eat as much when I'm not that stressed out. I figure on Tuesdays/Thursdays I'll eat without the grains since I'll probably eat something junky when I get home anyway. Tuesday was cleaning the kitchen and making stir fry off all the extra vegetables I bought that I forgot to use (spent more than I intended last weekend, but still good and still on trajectory). Plotting breaded pork chops.
Garden
Most of the structure is figured out. Got a new bag of bamboo stakes to expand, but I'm holding off on it for now.
The plants are now holding up better now that all the rain has been replaced with some days of warm weather and sun. All the tomatoes are bearing flowers: for the first time ever, I've got a chance to get tomatoes in June! Planted some squash and some cress seeds to see if that gives me anything. I'm probably going to add more supports to the structure in the future though as the vines grow out.
Finances
Things are moving according to schedule, but my dad is two months behind schedule on his ads. Ads aren't cheap, so it might affect my debt completion schedule. I warned Michelle about it. I'll probably have to bug him about it, but I'm worried that he's having money problems and that's why he forgot to send it for two months. I should have figured things would get in the way like this. I'm still on a downward trajectory despite this! Just... wished it was going to move faster than this. I think I'll still be at three digits by the end of it, even if it's going to be a close one. Thank god I got some cash back going on for this account in the meantime since that'll help make the landing more feasible.
That said, we got to go to NJ in a week. For a kiddy birthday. The person doing it also isn't very good with food, either. Sigh.
