fridaypoll more than anything these days.
Michelle complained that we haven't hiked that much these days and she was annoyed that I didn't try to push her to hike more even though I often have been wanting to. Sigh.
Work's been working (yes, so much punning).
I listened to a lecture on how to use Capture One better and I have to admit there's a lot of power in this thing, although I still think it's imperfect too. Still, layers makes a big difference.
I don't know if I mentioned the colcannon pancakes I made for St. Patricks Day at the office, but I will say that they were a hit. Someone even asked me for a recipe. I was happy enough with it because it was resource cheap as well but after eating all the reject ones, man am I sick of potato pancakes after that.
I'm trying to remind myself to bring my camera around more often.
I've been using resistance bands to make up for the lack of going outside. I know it's not the same, but I feel like I need something to push myself.
Having said that, my right hand is also starting to tense up from all the keyboard time. I got back into Pillars of Eternity and it's really hard to escape it. It's like a freaking Robert Jordan novel in terms of content but at the same time it's also got so much going on. I donated to the sequel as well so I feel like I need to at least finish the first game to really appreciate the second time around. The AI has gotten a ton better, so I think it makes it a lot easier to play now.
Michelle's breadmaking has now gone to sweetbread with the bread machine. I'm going to stock up on vegetables tonight and then fry up some bacon slices for sandwiches and replenish my bacon fat supply along the way. With that, I can now do all sorts of sandwiches.
I made two blueberry pies. A giant carton of old frozen blueberries has emptied my freezer in the process, hallelujah.
My face itches from dryness and the lotion I am covering myself with feels so weird.
I am in love with going home while there's light out, by the way.
Going to add the latest round of my podcast session up was one of my favorites so far.
