Day 19 - A song from your favorite album
Oct. 26th, 2017 12:17 pmI'm running out of favorite albums without it going redundant.
I had to change this one because it says "Favorite." I liked the previous album I listed as a solid piece, but as a favorite? Not entirely.
I will instead pass unto you the next best thing: Cordelia's Dad. An 80's era folk rock group whose lead singer is now a professor of classical music in Amherst (not kidding, Tim Eriksen, look him up) and whom I had the misfortune of really getting into right when I moved to Boston, and then found out they had a reunion show in Boston... about a month before I found out about the show.
ARRRRG
I caught Dr. Eriksen a couple years later doing a few of his electric pieces as well as the classical sets too. Electric versions of "How Can I Sleep?" are surprisingly awesome.
I have a favorite song from the band, but "What It Is" is probably my favorite album from them. Out of the songs they've done, I love the intensity of "Camille"
