Been Away Too Long?

Was it two weeks or a month? How strange it is to return from camp to home, away from the endless animals and bugs and constant wet to a place so dead of animals, bugs, and so dry?

That's right folks, I'm back and I brought a shitload of photos and wounds to prove it. I was hoping to explain this during the weekend, but I was uploading them and still am. I got 700 photos, slapped my forehead, and then edited them down to 500; they wanted lots of photos for the parents, so I gave them what they wanted. Damn it, why did they tell me that when I'm already a photo junkie?

Among casualties were several kids and the S3, which has its casing cracked enough to now be no longer water retardent. I've already filled out an inquiry form for repairs.

It still all feels so strange. I miss the camp, the rigors associated with it, the rope-welded medieval structures, the animals that kept invading my tent, even the bug bites. Hmm. I suppose I'll get this all updated into one long blog post of photos and everything else. As soon as everything gets posted properly.
