The Problem Was Solved
Oct. 20th, 2004 09:46 amCapital One actually charged me a service fee during the summer.
This service fee was accumulated from the time I signed up for that card and ever since has been accruing with late fees on the card. There was no mention of this membership fee that I can recall, but it was a 59 dollar membership fee. Isn't that amazing? I spent a fair amount of my day trying to figure out what it was that I spent on that card and it turns out to be some built in way to syphon cash out of you. The representative told me that the fee was not going to be pressured on me nor were the late fees. Thank god.
Spent some time reading Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall for a class, but I only mention this because it was a really really good book. I hadn't read anything so entertaining in such a long time, so it was a nice refresher from rifling through obscure texts and indecipherable poetic pieces.
