I can't believe I was a part of the Draconis Combine in a Clan mech. But that mattered little as the merc that I was, selling my services to the highest bidder along the Inner Sphere. After I paid the fees with the vendor at the arcade, I sat myself into a cockpit and became a mechwarrior.

Okay, so it wasn't that difficult to figure out. But the mood of it all was awesome. Here I was, fighting against other 'mechs in a battlefield as I went against them in a battlefield. In the end, I bagged 8 kills in 15 minutes on an ammoless Mad Cat that was sans PPCs. Not too shabby for a greenhorn.

I went out with acid_trip_lain again, and this time we didn't see a bad movie. Instead, it was a trip to New York to some comedy club, but not before eating at a chinese restaurant that had delectable dumplings and bathrooms that smelled like bubblegum. The humor was entertaining as it covered sex, race, drugs, introversion, college days, drugs, sex, and a microphone stand imitating Shaq's penis. I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't dump 20 bucks on drinks in a place with a cramped restroom. It could have been worse, though; I could have been a woman.

Writing was done tonight along the way and I'm glad. Speaking of writing, I feel a poll is appropriate here.
