Finally registered to splashblog as advised by [livejournal.com profile] theemptied. I just wish I didn't feel totally inept at figuring this damn thing out. I will figure out this Treo yet. Always fun to take random photos of New York as I walk along. I always wanted to take a photo of the tank in "Red Lobster" in Times Square, so I could note how fraudulent it is to have such a poorly-designed FRESHWATER tank in a seafood restaurant. They should at least get some crays in there instead of having a rotating giant plastic lobster by their sign! I mean, come on! You don't go to a "Red Lobster" feeling surprised and amazed at the sight of a tinfoil barb and a blood parrot! At least they have some plants around their giant plaster wood trunk; wisteria, if I remember correctly. While very well-grown, the tank is abnormally sparse and not very exotic.

On the other hand, the Bank of America next to New Brunswick station has a very extensive cichlid tank as well as a reef tank in their building. Take that, chain restaurant!

Hopefully interesting photos that will not look as good as [livejournal.com profile] morty_baby's will ensue.
