I realize it's old news, but...

-this certainly was news to me.
[Poll #678049]
If it comes back, I like to think it'll do well. The only fear in my mind is if it takes the path "The Simpsons" has been taking and starts to lose its flavor. But, I also know that this might be less of a problem since "Futurama" is obviously not "The Simpsons." Unlike the latter, the series used a lot of material from daily pop culture as well as all that pulpy or realistic sci-fi out there, which I think is a lot more to work with at the present time. Of course, it may also lead to campiness. My main concern is if the writers that did this still can do this or still want to, and if there is any new people that they'll be able to bring their own charm to the series.
If it follows the same trend as "Family Guy" did, though, then it means it will probably stay fresh. I hope.
You know it's a good series when it gives you anxieties.
