I remember during my school days how you could time the trains if you keep to your watch and note when they come in. It is a hidden schedule that I think the MTA is only aware of, but I think most people who are set in their ways can tell. Plus, some lines have those ETA schedules that you can also time. I'm genuinely curious though as to what sort of incidents do stop the train at the station, as I only ever hear about the line delays when police or EMTs are called, but never actually experienced it (perhaps for the better?)
