Guess who's back?

Okay, I did what I should have an took a hiatus from most of my online endeavors, including this one and promised that I would not screw around with it until summer classes were finished. Well, yesterday was it, so I'm back on the sauce!

There were many lessons learned from summer classes, oh yes.
1. I learned that summer campus buses come once every thirty minutes, and at night, they come once in a lifetime.
2. I learned that taking three courses a session is a good way to spend your life worn through.
3. I learned that psychology just isn't for me: I'm switching to english where I can imagine I'll make even less money once I attain my degree but at least will survive.
4. I learned that those little Altoid sour things can double for caffeine when you're falling dead.
5. I learned a lot of junk on Cognition and "Paradise Lost," but who the heck cares about that. Not most of my instructors, apparently.

So I made out of the abyss. I really hope I did because I'm actually really on the line here in terms of academics. Right now I think I have a 50/50 here, and I hate to gamble.

But enough of that garbage. I've got a few more ideas to write about in terms of literary work, so I'll try to cram as much of that into my life while I have the time (probably whilst screwing around with Morrowind).

On a side note, it's a good month to read the Aphelion.

of course they're underappreciated. "if you can't do, teach." what a horrible horrible thing to say, but people do. and some people actually go about proving them right. but when no one wants to teach, it's hard to keep the standards of teachers high. people like me who actually WANT to do this are rarities and often sidetracked into other things.

you i could see teaching on the college level, someday, but not anytime soon.

plus i don't think riot gear suits you ;)
