All right, I give up!

I'm kind of insulted. Some of the albums I listen to weren't on that list, including the obscure Allison Macleod and Pell Mell's Interstate, which was probably their best album in my opinion. I'd make an indy poke, but indy jokes are only funny if people who actually know how to say it are the ones that say it.

And I don't care what is said, but I have to admit this: whoever Vanessa Carlton's drummer is a goddamn legend that adds to an already alluring songwriting.

I agree on Belinda's voice. I can see where others wouldn't dig it, but I love that stuff. Bonnie Tyler is another balladeer of that decade that can really belt out the torch songs.

Now the Prodigy makes more sense. And the Engrish rap sounds very intriguing. Seeing people's album picks and discussing them is bringing many older bands to the fore that have crummy new albums.

YEah, though it's a shame that some of the albums I'm into are also not on that list. Like I said, I love Pell Mell. I think one of the songs in the "Interstate" album was used for "Six Feet Under"'s incidental theme from what I was told.

Burnside Project also is decent. I remember "Cue The Pulse To Begin" was used in "Queer As Folk." There's an oddity at how obscure some of the music in these shows really are but once you hear certain songs you'll realize that they're not as unknown as you originally thought, just potentially unmarketable in a global basis.
