I only heard back from one job application, an open call sort of thing. Cheese ripening specialist. 14/hour. Sadly not enough to live off of around these parts. The hunt continues but we're also too busy with other things.

Does anyone else feel like the weekend is never enough? I feel like I wanted to do more but I also wanted to relax more. I feel like I'm a broken record about it, but it keeps coming up.

My beans are starting to vine up properly, I'm getting sick of zucchini ideas at this point, and I'm no longer prediabetic in my glucose range. I think the CSA is doing its job! Now if only I could find some recipes for beets beyond roasting and making pancakes...

I've never been a fan of zucchini.
What do you do with it?

Stir fry, add it to your sauce, cube it into a stew, etc. I've seen it used for dessert breads as well since it retains moisture really well.

It's a bit bitter but a mild butteriness as well. It's not bad grilled as well.

I've tried all of those things. Still don't like zucchini 😄
