My Soshy-Meeds experience
By the way, so far I've gotten the hang out of social media enough to feel the following differences:
Facebook: people know you from real life, want you to make them feel good about them by talking about how good your life is... or memes.
Twitter: people don't know you and if you aren't reacting to their stuff, then try to be entertaining in the most succinct way possible.
Reddit: people just want you to say what's the most obvious, or the most groupthinky. If not that, then see Twitter.
Never made it through Tumblr to survive there, which was a shame since I wanted a social media that I could use to show off my photography easily and that one was most likely (that and Ello, which I now get reminded still exists because pornbots keep liking my stuff. Thanks, pornbots!)

I'm getting a general vibe that Tumblr is very judgmental from my flist feedback, hah!
I'm okay with keeping this place anonymous as well. The last time I had people from online interact with the people I knew in real life, I had this ridiculous conflict of interest that resulted. It's been annoying and I had to decide on filtering out people who knew me in real life from the ones that know me online. It's been a pain.

I had a similar issue with one of my brother's friends. I had the hubby on my Facebook list. The wife was always making comments about what I was posting. I thought, no biggie, she's reading over his shoulder, how my SIL does. One night at my brother's house I caught the wife, sitting in the basement using my brother's computer to log into the hubby's Facebook & leave snide comments.
I went home and deleted & blocked the hubby & have disliked the wife ever since. My brother completely understands. My SIL is all ... she was drinking, people make mistakes, that is so unlike her, give her a chance. Ummm Nooo. Drinking doesn't turn you into someone you aren't. Drinking lowers your inhibitions & shows the world exactly what you are about.
So here I go long commenting again. To say ya. It's a bad scene to mix it all up. 😂
