Extensive tank floor refurbishing

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Cleaned out some places, picked up three more plants (two for background, one nice foreground one with dark green and purple foliage) and some bulbs and a driftwood chunk that I wanted to jam some of those bulbs in. I don't see any that fell off so far.

Moved some of the riccia off the top and used some to replace panels. Was going to replace the main panel until I realized there was still riccia under it mixed in with the microsword. I applied a patch at the bare place, but it sticks out even more now because of it, so I think I'll toss the idea. Still one more sunny spot that I haven't exploited with a panel yet.

Around the week I think I know where to go to check some of these plants in. Not sure if they have any interest in floating plants, but always worth a check. This should free up some of the light as well as encourage some more yummy algae for my pancake. Which also reminds me: finally figured out how to use this camera properly for focus.

What a cutey!
To be honest, they're in that corner because I think I scare them. Yeesh.
This is what the top of my tank looks like right now. Hence why I can't get enough light down there half of the time.
Wanted a loach photo, but those guys are fast little buggers. Maybe during the night I'll catch them.

All I can say is, WOW! I love the pic of the red fish. Is that second picture a fish? Nice going on the tank! It's come a long, long way. :)
