Two things: 1. I need to read The Bell Jar. 2. The author rarely has a say in the cover of their book. Had a talk about this in my senior seminar class a couple semesters ago. My prof, Dr. Robbins, had published a book and the cover art had nothing to do with the book and they had to fight with the publisher to get it changed. It's rather frustrating for authors, actually. But you know, that's just a random factoid I know. :P
