(no subject)

So about to head out again, but will update as needed.

The jobs for both of us have calmed down a lot. Is it weird that it feels more stressful when that happens? It's August so we expect there to be less in general, but there's a LOT less these days according to the supervisor. No matter, I waste my time away eyeing the inbox and reading manga.

I found out that my contract was assigned to the wrong company so these past few weeks have been a constant attempt to reissue all the contracts, I-9s, W2s, and everything else that could annoy someone to no end. To make matters worse, my pay cycle might go monthly now. I'm being assured that won't change but excuse me if I'm feeling some skepticism here.

We have some replacement blinds to install. Fixed a toilet with a leaking tank. Installed ant traps outside for an infestation that leaked out of our windowsills (we fixed it ourselves with some plastic wood). I'm aware these are all landlord things, but TBH they're very minor and I want to learn more DIY before we get our own home, so I'm okay with doing it myself. ATM the repairs have looked pretty good on our end.

Alternatively, if you're looking for decent tenants you can leave alone, I'm available if the space looks good. ;)

Have been on and off with the ringfit which I should push myself more often because I'm focusing on cardio for it. I'm worried about the repetition ruining my joints again, so I'm now switching up again. I have a 15lb iron and did some reps and then three sets of burpees. I should plank as well since I know I'm going to hate it.

I honestly should put time for things like this on my job since I have downtime, but I really feel bad about it.

Also one of my friends (the camping guy) had a discussion with me and since he focuses on cardiology he revealed to me that I not only have bad apnea but that it's a Korean thing. I never would've known.

I've got some more projects that I need to re-focus on, so I guess this post will make a good reminder.

Note to self:
-Finish the fox sketch
-Install blinds
-install soundproofing panels to the studio
-Clean up aforementioned studio

Okay, off I go. I'll check out what's going with you merry folks when I get the chance.
