Learning

Okay, so I have been producing a video a week of Minecraft with The Rat ("Ratcraft") and it's been an amazing learning experience because I am at a fourth video released and it's been a lot but I can now repeat 80% of the techniques I have seen my regular YouTubers use via Premiere. Combined with my Photoshop knowledge, I am feeling very "one stop shop" though I know I can learn even more from a program that is used to edit films. Ratcraft was initially just me playing with narration and then recording a second track with The Rat. Ironically that was the easy part. The harder part included figuring out how to clip, then audio equalize, then speed set, and now how to set keyframes.

To be fair? I know half these things because I tried to be a believer in Cyberlink Powerdirector. Unfortunately, Powerdirector had a tendency to crash super easily. Maybe it was my rig being not top end I dunno. Either way, compared to now, it's like I'm applying old knowledge and it's incredibly much more intuitive.

So yeah if anyone's interested: I think I'm okay with sharing Ratcraft now since it feels a lot less amateur and more typical let's player.

It's still Adobe though and Adobe is an asshole factory, even upcharging by forcing AI on its users so yeah, would love to find an alternative to PDF since Acrobat is as essential to white collar as MS Office.

This work has been obstructing my photography postproduction. I found a photo I took of the Luigi plane among other things. That was like 11 days ago lol

Michelle's photo btw? If you saw twitter posts about the plane, chances are you saw her photo.

I also messed with my camera settings and it's eating more memory than ever but it's fine tuned for wildlife and my hit vs miss rate is much better now.

Michelle got into Minecraft thanks to my videos and the nephew so she's also playing.

I can't believe I'm getting this much brain growing knowledge while keeping up with work and my physical activity. Maybe all the shit going on that is out of my control is just keeping me that much more in need to keep myself stable. At least I haven't picked up bushcraft again. The birthday and these many last minute purchases though are still screwing over my wallet though.

Memorial Day is approaching. Appropriate. Weather looks to be pretty miserable though. Maybe some outside but I'm debating how we keep fit despite that.

I'd add photos here too but there's a lot of content. Just cleared a lot so will add that in another post.
