Another tired trip back

This time I followed down Amsterdam, looking for a Thai place. No good, the restaurant I wanted wasn't there. Instead, I found a noodle shop, ordered some food, and continued to travel down (Ollie's, by the way, has awesome fried rice).

Further down, I passed by the Lincoln Center again.

Pretty!

Okay, more walking. More walking. My legs are getting used to it, but I feel it. I really really feel it.

Once you get to around 42nd, you really feel the crowd buildup. For some damn reason, the Times Square terminal felt even more packed than normally. I still needed to go down further to hit Penn Station.

This is what it looked like along the neglected 8th avenue entrance. Yeesh. But, it could have been worse.

The lighting screwed with my camera's focus, but you should notice a mass of darkness in the middle. That's people. Lots and lots of people all waiting in a thick line that is separated by police barriers. In fact, there were a number of police barriers in Penn Station. As I thought, it didn't get any better, only a little more organised.

That's my shpiel. I'm going to bed.

I'm not much for the idea of being cattle herded day in and out, either. Though, I have to admit that this isn't too different from the usual rush hour. Still, the idea of thousands along the Long Island side packed in like that would blow me into extreme claustrophobia.
