Despite how it sounds, I meant gloomy as in "the weather was really, really, bad." It's been pretty inclement weather in tandem with deer infestations.

In all honesty, there's some really good bakeries here that make some great ciabatta, but they only do it during the weekends; not so good for Thanksgiving.
