Poutine is quite trendy now over here, ha! One of the more interesting things I saw was a place that had disco fries AND poutine (which I thought was odd because disco fries seemed to be a NJ-centric variation of the dish). We have some Tim Hortons around here too, but their footprint is very limited. Well maybe not so much now that they pretty much are Burger King too.

Pulled pork is good stuff, but you have to really get it at a place that understands how to barbecue it or how to make it yourself. It's the breakdown of the collagens in tandem with the crispiness of the crust that adds to its range of textures, in my opinion. I never buy the store stuff otherwise. In all honesty, I like it because it's ridiculously cheap and easy to make once you know how to do it.
