I should say that it's not Michelle's grandmother, but the other extended family's grandmother; I guess you could say their mother's side? Either way, I agree, it's downright symbolic and I was happy for them since I think they know this means they can put time aside to get ready for the fated day now (they're predicting a few months at most).

Sadly, her side isn't all roses though; you reminded me how her grandfather is scheduled to get heart surgery. Her family line has a history of coronary disease and they eat meat-heavy diets and party like any lively Portuguese family would, but when I see that, I always get concerned (though they look great despite that, considering; hell, her grandfather looks like an ex-wrestler he's so burly). I think he'll be all right, but normally they spend their summers going to their home in Portugal, so these plans are going to be canned for the year. :\

No worries on the gardening, I figure whatever I don't learn from experience, I might wheedle from some one else on my feed. I feel like I need to up my gardening game all the same.
