Another day of feeling tired as hell.
I played a video game for the first time in months. I can't believe I'm typing that. Up to my twenties, my parents called me the "game boy" and here I am avoiding most of my pastimes for the sake of work hammering me.
Anyway, Banners of Ruin still holds up really well. I could replay it over and over again and I did play it... until I realized I still have things I should devote my time to.
My ADHD is kind of a reminder system that's not unlike the Amazon Alexa going "by the way" every time you ask it for the time. It's never that easy to just have *one* thing, you have to be reminded that you have five other things you could be doing.
The reason I bring that up is because I realized I have been keeping The Rat in a Christmas outfit and that I should probably build around that, so did some prep work off of that and this lead to more deviations
Between that I dropped the previous Christmas card idea, completely switched it while I was on the way to some errands so turned it into some random fire safety thing mixed with a pop up.
This entire endeavor lead to buying a color printer. If you think that's not odd enough, would you believe that before this a deviation lead us to finding Michelle new shoes?

Started up Flickr again and realized... Flickr is a ghost town. And I thought LinkedIn was bad, lol. I'll def keep sticking to Smugmug (besides, less of a PITA to share images unless you're on a phone).
Reminds me that I need to look at those photos of Waterloo eventually.
If my life is a game, I'm stuck in constant "dick around for sidequests" mode.
Damn, that should be the title for this post.
Speaking of posts, I realized that like half of the people I even read on here can't see my access posts. There's nothing there at this point that I can't think of hiding and even though it gives away personal info, I can't imagine someone looking for details about me in other ways, so whatever: I updated access for everyone. I'm sorry for the Rat enjoyers especially as there are a LOT of Rat adventures in there.
Anyway, homemade thing is halfway done; it's for the FIL and it's partly risque to play with the joke. It'll make sense later on.
Finished more work for NIH but got a few more things I'd like to round out.
Got something new on the table to work on for IEEE but I'll work on that too.
God I'm tired. I slept longer than usual and I'm so tired.
But like the solstice that watches over us through most of the day, the hands will switch and dawn shall expand, with it so will my energy. Or whatever.
There, we can make *that* the thing The Rat is talking about to the background of a working town song.
