I finally uploaded the photos from camping and a Haunted Halloween weekend where I traveled the weekend as a survivor of nuclear winter. This seemed like an abstract concept to most people, though, so I said I was an extra from Mad Max. The costume included a spear I made with a piece of wood with a screwdriver lashed on. In retrospect, a more suitable prop would probably have been a handgun with a flashlight duct taped on it.
Even better, I finally started to figure out how to mess with the auto balances in my photography, which will allow me even more flexibility in my ability to take shots and maintain crispness. Like this photo?
I'm surprised it looks this nice considering it's an indoors shot in a very poorly-lit location (you wouldn't think that, though, would you? I know I wouldn't).
