Whoah-ho-ho-WHAT?!
Hello everyone, this is Logan's younger sister, Emily. It's apparent that people have heard what happened to Logan, but we (his family) figured one of us should make an official announcement to you. Logan passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon. We made sure he knew how much he was loved before he went.
Not long ago, Logan told us that one of the most important things to him was playing his music for people. I'm pretty sure that right now he would thank you for being such an amazing audience. We are going to do our best to make sure his music continues to be available to everyone. Very Tiny Songs will be out soon, for which we are all extremely grateful. Grateful to have one last amazing work from the mind of Logan Whitehurst. Logan was, for many of us, the most unique and talented person we've ever known. Through his music and with your help, we will keep the memory of Logan alive. Thank you for all your support and kind words.
To quote one of his songs,
"As I go to heaven in the back of my Luv-Machine, I can hear them say as I fly away, 'LIFE IS PEACHES AND CREAM'."

For those of you that never got to experience his music, he is, in my opinion, the very essence of alternative music that created artists like They Might Be Giants and The Barenaked Ladies. Silly, fun, and family-friendly in its quirkiness; I often recommended him to friends. I'm sad to see that he never got to the full glory that he deserved since he was damned awesome.
As an example, I present Farkle!, not so much a song as a spoof about all those damn infomercials we are stricken with. High energy, creative, and just plain silly; it's worth a good laugh.
